Roxy, Roxy, Roxy... and Me.

Needless to say.. Roxy was the place to be this past Saturday. I met up with Mikey and KnightLyfe to find that they still throw a good party.

You can find more photos on KnightLyfe.com starting sometime next week once their website is back up.

Next up: A very Miami Christmas. I'm going to be in Miami from Christmas Eve to the 27th. Vacation much?

The 305.

It's been a while since I've posted on here -- but here's an update:

Currently, I'm open to exchanging my services for some computer work. I need my laptop fixed, and I'd be willing to provide an hour of my services, custom edited photos, and a final CD of the images in exchange. You can email me, call me, text me, or even send me a message on Facebook to set this up. Obviously -- the first person to respond wins.

Also, Christmas is coming up.. Photos, photos, photos, photos. Photos are the best gift you could give anyone -- and new photos can be the talk of your social networking account in no time, kids.

2008: A Year In Review (Coming Soon)

I'm working on a 365-photo summary of my 2008. Laziness might cut me down to 200 or less.. We all know how that goes. However, with this collection I'm going to be publishing it into a book.
Psh -- And they say I'm not doing anything with my life..

That Other Chris.

Today I went out for a photo shoot with Chris Barbari. A majority of the photos I took were with my favorite: Canon 15mm, 2.8 Fish-Eye lens.

Bright skies and all -- everything turned out incredible.

You can find more from this photo shoot posted on my website within the next few days as I upload them.

Up next:
Portrait Shoots All Week.
Camerae on Sunday.

Orlando Reeves.

Orlando history lesson for the weekend..

"Historians date Orlando's name to around 1837, when a soldier named Orlando Reeves allegedly died in the area during the Second Seminole War. It seems, however, that Orlando Reeves (sometimes Rees) operated a sugar mill and plantation about 30 miles (50 km) to the north at Spring Garden in Volusia County, and pioneer settlers simply found his name carved into a tree and assumed it was a marker for his grave site. They then referred to the area as "Orlando's grave" and later simply Orlando. A memorial beside Lake Eola designates the spot where the city's namesake fell."

Sara Y Richard.

I just got back from a gorgeous Catholic wedding in Deland this past Saturday (For future reference, St. Pete Catholic Church is HUGE..).

.. but eight hours of photography is exhausting. At the very least, these Ohio State fans planned a beautiful wedding.

Check back at JChrisCallahan.com for more of their photos later in the week.

Down, down, -- town.

I'm starting to like downtown Orlando a bit more. If you're bored and looking for something to see, take the 408 towards I-4.. head eastbound to take the new ramp and enjoy the view.

Luke!

Today I went out to Maitland for a photo-shoot at a beautiful community courtyard. Luke got some incredible shots today as sunset neared. Little kids are so adorable! He even gave me high-fives and funny faces! It was great, I had a lot of fun.

Everytime I took a photo, he kept shouting "CHEEEEEEESSSSEEEE!"

All Dressed In White.

Here's a few photos from Chris and Christina's wedding in Palm Harbor on November 1st. I had a lot of fun -- they were a great couple and they looked so good together! Her dress was probably the prettiest I've seen, and sure enough -- she looked amazing in it. I wish the best of luck to them with their marriage, and I'll actually be seeing Christina in a week or so for a "Trash The Dress" photo shoot. I very excite!

I'll have more photos up on my website shortly.
